TriTStat Reagent kit

TriTStat is a clinical diagnoistic for use with flow cytometers. It allows for generation of absolute counts of CD3+, CD4+ and CD8+ cells inpatient blood samples.  These metrics are critical for the management of HIV patients.

TriTStat has been evaluated at multiple leading laboratories in India and has demonstrated robust equivalence to industry standard reagent kits.Data is available on request.

Low Cost
$3-$5 per test
ReaMetrix produces the TriTStat reagent kit in order to allow Health Care providers to manage HIV patients more cost-effectively.

ReaMetrix's reagent kit allows the existing flow cytometry infrastructure to provide lower cost CD4+/Cd8+ counts.

Dried. No Cold Chain.
ReaMetrix ships its reagents is dried room temperature stable format. These reagents can be shipped and stored at ambient temperatures and do not require refrigeration.

Shipped in single-use vials.

Just add patient sample and run.

The TriTStat test comes in single-use vials. The only reagents required to run the test are the patient's blood sample and the vial. No purified water is reuired.

Fix at collection site
ReaMetrix offers the option of combining the patient's blood sample with the reagents at the point of collection. In this form, samples are stable to be read on a flow cytometer for up to 4 days.

Why Dry reagents?

Read our White Paper

ReaMetrix’s unique dry-down process provides the reagent in a dry format with absolute counting beads in covenient single test (per tube) format that eliminates many potential sources of error in CD4 counts. The conveniences and advantages of the dried format are outlined below

Shipment & Storage

The dried reagents don’t require refrigeration. It eliminates the need for cold chain in transportation, storage and use of the reagents. It makes it more robust in Indian conditions. The denaturation of antibodies associated with liquid reagents due to improper shipment or repeated exposure to ambient temperatures in a laboratory are eliminated.

Temperature stability

In hot Indian conditions, reagent stability at high temperatures is critical. As shown in the graph, the dried reagent is stable at high temperatures.

Why Fix Samples at Collection Point?

The dried reagent provided in a unitized format allows staining of the blood sample at the point of collection. The stained and fixed sample is stable for over five days as shown in the graph.

Aged Samples

Samples come from remote locations to centralized path labs. Sample ‘aging’ caused by capping of CD3 receptors is often an issue which can lead to inaccurate CD4 counts. In CD3 capping, the receptors can no longer attach to antibodies. So, a unitized tube in dry format stained at source on the same day eliminates CD3 capping.
