| Systems Director |
| At ReaMetrix, we create innovative and affordable diagnostic solutions with a focus on the unmet health care needs of the developing world. To this end, we create the next generation hardware diagnostic platforms and reagents. We are building a strong instrumentation systems design & development group at our Bangalore (India) facility.

| The Systems Director will coordinate the design and development of the measurement platforms of ReaMetrix besides being a strong facilitator in the growth of this group. Responsibilities include planning and execution of ReaMetrix’s hardware platform strategy with the goal of meeting quality, cost and regulatory criteria. Preparation of detailed execution plans, management of internal/external resources, detailed documentation for regulatory compliance and active participation in recruiting and mentoring top talent will be some of the key activity areas. |
| On the hardware side, we are developing novel variants of flow cytometers, microscopes, fluorescence scanners and other optical/mechanical life platforms that require the integration of assays developed in our laboratories into the platforms developed. Thus, the focus is on “system integration,” enabling the convergence of cross-disciplinary technologies involving cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, fluidics, electronic instrumentation and electro-optics. |
| The job requires not only engineering and analytical skills but also a willingness to do hands-on design management & review. Hence an intense desire as well as willingness to work cross functionally is a fundamental requirement. Desire to learn and understand the convergence of multiple disciplines involving hardware, software, biology and manufacturing process is a core characteristic that cannot be compromised. |
