TUV Rhineland Recommends ReaMetrix, Inc. for ISO 9001:2000 Certification
Bangalore, India, (July 18, 2008) – ReaMetrix, Inc, has been approved for ISO 9001 certification by TUV Rhineland. For ReaMetrix, the receipt of ISO 9001 certification, which is the most widely recognized international standard for quality management systems, is an important step in demonstrating that “high quality” and “affordability” are not mutually exclusive when it comes to diagnostic products.
The ReaPan CD34 assay is intended for the determination of the concentration of CD34+ cells in cord blood, bone marrow samples, and apheresis products using flow cytometry. The ReaPan CD34 reagent is formulated in buffered saline with 0.1% sodium azide and stabilizers. It contains fluorescently labeled CD45 and CD34, as well as 7-aminoactinomycin D. A precise number of fluorescent counting beads are included in the ReaPan CD34 reagent to allow single-platform determination of absolute CD34+ stem cell counts.
The ReaPan CD34 reagent is provided in dried form dispensed in flow cytometer compatible sample tubes. There is enough reagent in each tube to process one sample.
ReaMetrix is committed to becoming the leading provider of high quality research and diagnostic assay solutions resulting in a transformation of the cost opportunities available in India into value for both the biotechnology and global health sectors. We believe Indian resources bring significant value to identifying and addressing the health care needs of the developing world, and that the resulting products will often translate into more affordable alternatives in the developed world. Our business model is uniquely suited to addressing each context on its own terms.
Human Leukocyte Antigen B27, a class I surface antigen encoded by the B locus in the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) presents microbial antigens to T-Lymphocytes. The onset of seronegative spondyloarthropathies that includes ankylosing spondylitis, Reiter's disease, psoratic arthritis and inflammmatory bowel disease is associated with the expression of HLA-B27 antigen on T-Lymphocytes.
