Bala S. Manian Ph. D. - Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Manian has been a distinguished contributor to the Silicon Valley entrepreneurial community for the last three decades. At present Dr. Manian is focused on ReaMetrix, which he founded in May of 2003. ReaMetrix is committed to becoming the leading provider of easy-to-use assay solutions that increase reliability and consistency, expand the capabilities of proprietary technology platforms, increase the experimental efficiency and at the same time bring affordable solutions to address needs in India and other developing nations.
Dr. Manian is a co-founder and director of Quantum Dot Corporation, and a co-founder of SurroMed Corporation, both of which are privately held. He was the founder and Chairman of Biometric Imaging, Inc. which was acquired by Becton Dickinson in February 1999. Prior to founding Biometric Imaging, Inc., Dr. Manian founded both Lumisys and Molecular Dynamics in June 1987 and was their founder chairman and CTO. Lumisys went public in 1995 and later was acquired by Eastman Kodak in December of 2000. Molecular Dynamics went public in 1993, and subsequently was acquired by Amersham in 1998. Dr. Manian founded Digital Optics Corporation in 1980, an optical instrumentation and systems development Company that was acquired by the publicly traded Matrix Corporation in 1984.

Sheri J. Miraglia Ph. D. - Chief Scientific Officer
Sheri Miraglia has been a member of the ReaMetrix team since it's inception in 2003. Prior to ReaMetrix, she held various positions at Applied Biosystems, the most recent as a Senior Manager in the Business Development group. Sheri spent much of her time at Applied Biosystems developing and marketing applications for high-throughput screening and drug discovery. Prior to Applied Biosystems, she worked for AmCell Corporation developing fluorescent reagents for research and clinical instruments. Sheri completed two industrial post-doctoral fellowships at Genencor International and DNAX Research Institute after completing her Ph. D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at the University of California, Irvine. She also holds a B. A. in Chemistry from California State University, Fullerton. Sheri has served in various organizational capacities for the Society of Biomolecular Screening and has been a session chair for the European drug discovery forum MipTEC since 2001. |

Chandrasekhar Krishnan Ph. D. - Vice President - Operations
Chandrasekhar ("Sekhar") Krishnan comes to ReaMetrix with close to 15 years of experience covering new process/product development and manufacturing optimization in the polymer & petrochemical industry.
Prior to joining ReaMetrix, Sekhar was with General Electric as a Program Leader in charge of polycarbonate process technology at GE Plastics (late '99 to mid '05). As a certified Six Sigma Black Belt at GE, Sekhar drove execution of several technology & manufacturing initiatives leading to improved quality, efficiency & reliability. Also in this capacity, Sekhar helped build the "Chemical Engineering & Modeling" center of excellence at the John F. Welch Technology Center - GE's R&D facility in Bangalore.
Sekhar's industrial experience prior to GE covered a 9 year combined stint at Occidental Chemical Corporation's Technology Center in Grand Island, New York and Exxon's Polymer Development Center in Baytown, Texas.
Sekhar holds a BS from A. C. College of Technology (Madras, India) and MS/Ph. D. degrees from the University of Akron (Akron, Ohio) - all in Chemical Engineering. He also completed a number of key business management courses from the State University of New York - Buffalo & the University of Houston. |

Ramesh Murthy Vice President - Finance & Administration
Ramesh is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) since 1992, he became member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India ( ICWAI) in 1990. He has Bachelors degree in Commerce from Bangalore University in 1988.
Ramesh has experience working in the field of finance and general management positions spanning 14 years and has worked in different industries from MNC manufacturing to software and BPO industries. Ramesh was instrumental in setting up operations for a US based financial services company in 1995. He has worked on implementing ERP systems and was instrumental in implementing SAP and other ERP systems in his previous assignments.
He heads finance and administration functions at ReaMetrix. |

Sridhar Ramanathan Ph. D. - Director of Contract Research
Sridhar Ramanathan joins ReaMetrix as the Director of Contract Research after experiences in a start-up multinational corporation and being a part of the start-up team for an Engineering Services Company.
Sridhar graduated from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani , India with a M.Sc (Honors) in Chemistry and a B.E (Honors) in Instrumentation Engineering. He completed a Ph.D in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Kentucky , Lexington , Kentucky and spent a couple of years in post-doctoral research at the US Environmental Protection Agency and University of Kentucky . He then joined the General Electric Company (GE) to be a part of GE John F Welch Technology Center in Bangalore . He helped set-up the state of the art Analytical Chemistry Laboratory and build the Analytical Chemistry team there. After the stint at GE, Sridhar joined Harita Infoserve, a start-up engineering design services company which is a part of the TVS group as the Quality Head. He helped build the delivery and business processes at Harita. From business quality, Sridhar went on to initiate the PCMM journey at Harita as the HR-Head. Sridhar is a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) as certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). |

Gokul Srinivasan Ph. D. - Director of Marketing and Business Developement
Gokul Srinivasan comes to ReaMetrix after working for more than 11 years in the areas of research, application development & product marketing of polyolefins and engineering thermoplastics. After graduating with a Ph.D in Polymer Science from the University of Akron, OH, he worked for 4.5 years with Reliance Industries Ltd. in Mumbai in the development of new applications & markets for their polyolefin business.
Before joining ReaMetrix, he was with the General Electric Company for 7 years where he was a program leader at GE’s John F Welch Technology Centre, Bangalore driving new product programs. While at GE, he was also instrumental in the design, installation and operation of pilot plants and driving process optimization & development initiatives.
Gokul is a chemical engineer from the University of Calicut. He earned a Doctorate in Polymer Science from the University of Akron, Akron, OH in 1994, following an MS in Chemical Engineering from the same university.
